The team of internet giant Google’s AdWords has announced that it would be offering 24-hour support on social media from Monday to Friday. They would be answering queries on Google+, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Given their interactions with the public on Twitter so far; it’s quite visible as to how forthright and regular Google has been in answering all the questions being put up to them. Many critics have come up with qualms surrounding this mode of communications; especially with regards to character limitations of the platform itself.
Several digital experts have, by-and-large, welcomed the move and seem quite cheerful about the results and in helping out the public. Going forward they also suggested that Google’s responses would cover large audiences if in case they are expressed on other forums instead of sending them across through personal social media accounts.
There are still many other ways of receiving help directly from Google. There are several experts from Google who run their own blogs and are available for answering all sorts of related questions. For example, ‘Ask the AdSense Guy’ series of posts, which features John Brown, Google’s Head of Publisher Policy Communications. Here one may Tweet one’s questions to @sejournal with the hash tag #AskTheAdSenseGuy. This provides a brilliant opportunity to provide every sort of help to the public.
Overall this mode of reaching out directly to the public for solving their queries could have an important impact in days to come.
