After AMP Error reports, Google Adds AMP filters to Search Console
Google has been focusing on making progress with both the intricacies of their search engine as well as ensuring their search analytics is top notch. Now, with these new moves, our seasoned search engine marketers and optimizers have had to find new ways to ensure that they stay on top. But, along with this, have also come some recent changes which have only helped these professionals scale Google’s high standards.
Right at the heels of their decision to add AMP error reports to the Google Search Console this January, Google has decided to add a new filter to the Search Analytics Reports to allow webmasters to filter reports using the AMP pages.
Now, companies can find out how people discovered the AMP pages when they search online through their phones. This change has been implemented since its rollout. Essentially, webmasters can now figure out which queries led their AMP pages to appear in the mobile search results using just one filter on the Search Console.
Experts elucidate how to apply this filter, “To set the filter, go to Search Analytics and click on the drop-down under the “search appearance” section. Select AMP from that list. It will then allow you to compare how the AMP metrics compete against other search results links.”
Sight visibility can also be tested over time keeping in mind the measure of the AMP pages. If you are losing your mobile traffic or need expert advice on Mobile SEO services and Mobile Website Designing, contact us today.
