1496% Boost in Website Traffic for Bajav Finserv’s Bill Payments LoB

When Bajaj Finserv integrated the BBPS solution into their website for easy bill payments, recharges, gas bookings, and loan repayments, they turned to Techmagnate for help. The customers they wanted relied on already established players in the market, so building trust was challenging.

Our job was twofold:

1. To ensure their new service pulled in relevant traffic through higher SERP ranking
2. They increased the number of users signing up for their bill payments service.

The Challenges

While Bajaj Finserv is a well-known NBFC, they still struggled to attract users to their bill payment service.

The main challenge with this service was the lack of the right website architecture. Search engines were not able to crawl the Bajaj website online. They also faced tough competition from established payment gateways and government sites which dominated top search results.

Moreover, the user experience on the desktop and mobile sites was not intuitive, which negatively impacted the brand’s image.

Results

April’23 to September’23

    • 1. Transformational Website Traffic Growth

      The website traffic grew by 1496.49% in a span of six months.

    • 2. Top 10 Ranked Keywords

      The total number of keywords ranking in the Top 10 searches grew by nearly 450%

    • 3. 8.71% Increase in Share of Voice (SOV) Downwards arrow in positive manner

      Bajaj’s SOV for ranking keywords increased by 8.71%.

Strategies and Actions Taken

  • 1. Large-Scale Content Creation & Optimization

    We ran a thorough keyword analysis, identified content gaps, and defined comprehensive new clusters. This led to the creation and optimization of nearly 500 new pages on the website.

    Existing pages were also optimized for a smooth user journey.

  • 2. Strengthened Internal Linking Structure

    Using our newly defined keyword cluster as the foundation, we improved the site’s internal linking structure between the main pages and category pages.

  • 3. Backlink Acquisition

    We built high-quality backlinks to the client’s website through strategic content creation and outreach initiatives, which resulted in increasing the site’s domain authority.

  • 4. Improved the Site’s UI/UX

    We analyzed user behavior on the website and made improvements to the site’s UI/UX accordingly.
